Beauty in death

I bought my wife a bunch of roses in November last year and, amazingly, they dried and looked just as elegant as ever. We've been reluctant to throw them away 'cos they are so beautiful even in death :) Here's one of the roses after 5 months! It's the first of April and I don't feel foolish, to be honest :p

I LOVE drying roses, Abisola, so this is after my own heart. I'm glad you didn't throw them away.
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks Ginnie. We're also glad we didn't throw them away because we are now being treated to the most elegant death by roses smile How long do you keep your roses for?

I have kept some of my dried flowers for at least 10 years, Abisola, especially if they're still looking good. The trick is to keep the dust off. I think some people spray them with hair spray.
