I have uploaded something similar for next week. You have much nicer lighting.
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks Mary. I'll look out for your version... I'm sure I've got a lot to learn from it smile Meanwhile, do you know what the sculpture is called?

What a perspective on this statue, Abisola. Very sobering. I like the color tones.
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks Ginnie. It was a moving sculpture, I must admit.

After days of torture to get the person to admit the suspected 'crime', a further torturous death will be applied. Who wouldn't admit? When you admitted too fast, it was seen as a false admittance and the crunching, stretching and burning would continue.

In the name of law.

Great picture.
Abisola Fatokun: So true, Louis. It's amazing that we still have the same application of the law in some parts of the world today. Education, enlightenment and modernisation is not spreading fast enough as far as I'm concerned!

Thanks for your comment.

poor man... I feel hurted for him...
Abisola Fatokun: I feel you Znax. You really wonder why they had to break his wrist and ankle joints before nailing his hands and feet to the wood! So needlessly brutal :S
Powerful image. Nice tones. (:o)
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks Rosalyn. wasn't honest about the tones to be honest...
