In trying to be clever, I bought a 250GB hard disk to use as my photo store and hooked it up to my Linux computer which is my home file-server. This worked wonderfully for me until a couple of weeks ago... I am suddenly unable to access 95% of my photos 'cos of some inexplicable error messages on my linux box. Here is the situation, the disk is not formatted with NTFS or FAT. Instead, it's formatted with ext3+ which is high-performing but inaccessible to my windows system.
I am so NOT looking forward to delving into the _nix command line to figure out the problem here... till I do, I thought I'd expose the person behind the person behind the lens! :)
