This sky is not boring

Night shot from the london bridge. Was working late last week and saw these lovely cloud formations as I was walking from the City to the London Bridge station to catch my train home. Thankfully, this time, I had my wide-angle lens on me!
I don't know about you guys but I love this photo! Enjoy.

i like the clouds too.. it feels like a lid of felt upon the city life. ~S.
Abisola Fatokun: 'lid of felt'...that's very poetic. Yes it does feel that way. Very dramatic. Thanks for dropping by Sara.

the colour is a great idea. Was this hand held?
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks! Yeah, it was kindof hand held. 'cos I put used the railing on the bridge as a support (but the bridge shakes quite heavily if you feel it with your hand).

I like it, too. Bisola, and tells me exactly why and when I will use my own 17-55 lens (which I've not used yet). I'm thinking it will be perfect for night shots of the Amsterdam canals! smile

Anyway, you have just whetted my appetite! Great eye after work.
Abisola Fatokun: smile Go for it Ginnie! At a point, I only had my 18-55mm and didn't have a choice than to find shots for it. Now, I'm actually thinking it's my most versatile 'cos of the wide-angle options it gives me. Thanks for dropping by...
we are stepping up!

Abisola Fatokun: smile Thanks Deji. So this is what it takes to impress you eh?

Beautiful, dramatic, and glowing. I can understand why you are so pleased with this one. (:o)
Abisola Fatokun: Thanks Rosalyn. I'm pleased you like it. Been trying to do some city scapes instead of my typical nature shots.
