Couldn't resist posting the lyrics to this song we were taught way back in Nursery school!! Here are the lyrics to "L'il Liza Jane" from Mudcat: I've got a gal and you've got none, l'il Liza Jane I've got a gal that calls me "hon," l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane. Liza Jane done come to me; l'll Liza Jane We're as happy as we can be; l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane. Come my love and live with me; l'il Liza Jane I will take good care of thee; l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane. Get a house and lot in Baltimore; l'il Liza Jane Lots of children runnin' out the door; l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane. I know a gal that I adore, l'il Liza Jane. 'Way down south in Baltimore, l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh, Eliza, l'il Liza Jane.; Oh, Eliza, l'il Liza Jane. Down where she lives, the posies grow; l'il Liza Jane. Chickens 'round the kitchen do'; l'il Liza Jane. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane. I wouldn't care how far we roam; l'il Liza Jane. Where she's at is home sweet home; l'il Liza Jane.. CHORUS: Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane; Oh Eliza, L'il Liza Jane.

Burger with Avocados and Pesto, or should I go for Blue cheese and bacon with fries, or do I want olives on the side? The menu at GBK - Gourmet Burger Kitchen - does leave one confused! Lovely Burger restaurant if you are in my neck of the woods, hungry, and wondering what to eat! This is one of the last few pics I'm taking with Jide's camera before I return it :(

Watching this scene was a stark reminder of the challenges facing parents in this century! Little child starts to cry, parents look on in confusion: 'what do we do? what DID we do?' I marvelled at Yinka's friend's ability to make her daughter not only stop crying but actually to smile for the camera. I kinda love this shot, though.

This is Eliza. Some of you may have met her on one of our London Photo Walks... a reluctant Shutterchancer who left the country tonight to start a new life in Finland. Went to share a final pint with her yesterday and took a parting shot :) Bye, Eliza. Stay well!

I particularly like this shot. I'm not entirely sure why but it just gives me a buzz that I think I finally posted a shot that has an 'okay' tonal range :) Does anyone disagree!!?

Took this shot a while back but - in retrospect - I think I didn't tap into the potential of the photo. Picked it up again from my archive and applied some black and white filters to it. I think it looks slightly better now :) BTW. His name is Tolu Akinluyi. And the previous post was here.
